Tovah Greenwood, aka Tovah Love, is a well known and loved Knoxville photographer. A favorite of local scene bands and artists, Tovah creates art that intimately depicts the scenes and people she photographs. "I love freezing an emotion with the simple click of a button." Although most people wouldn't call what she does simple, she seems to truely enjoy the art of photography.
"I found my love for photography in elementary school when I went with my mom to her darkroom classes at the University of Tennessee. I remember the thrill of watching an image just magically appear out of thin air." she says. "It's that magic that has inspired the passion within me ever since."
Tovah pursued an education in the photographic arts, and has been published in Metro Pulse, the Knoxville News Sentinel, Tennessee Alumnus magazine, and more. She has shown her work at the Knoxville Museum of Art, Three Flights Up Gallery, Agora art gallery, Through the Lens Gallery, and was co-founder of the Isis Gallery in Knoxville.
Tovah is available for weddings, portraits, fashion, live and studio promotional shots, commercial photography... you name it and she can do it!
