As a member of “Deee Lite”, he debuted from U.S. label Electra in 1990. In the year 2007, he started a music production company, “hug inc.” and also started “hug Columbia” with Columbia Music Entertainment, Inc. As a sound producer, he has been involved in lots of commercial production and the branding of a lot of hot selling products, and in recent years he has been taking charge of the sound produce of DoCoMo “N705i”, created by amadana. Before the release of his 5th solo album, which he is now in production, he will be releasing the next volume of the very popular compilation series “MOTIVATION 7 compiled by DJ TOWA TEI” which includes his new track “A.O.R.” TOWA TEI feat LINA OHTA, on July 9th. As a D.J., besides his regular “MOTIVATION” party at Tokyo and Kyoto, he has been performing at big festivals, at top class brand parties, and both domestic and international V.I.P parties.

LINA OHTAを収録したコンピシリーズ最新作『MOTIVATION 7 compiled by DJ TOWA TEI』を発売する。DJとしても、東京、京都でのレギュラーパーティー「MOTIVATION」のレジデンツ他、様々なトップ・ブランドや国内外のVIPパーティー、ビッグ・フェスへの出演など、精力的に活動中。
