Towhead are a NZ/Canadian experimental collective on the Exile Music label that combine subtle electronic grooves with traditional melodies from New Zealand, Ireland, Scotland and beyond. Inspired by the Pacific beaches and sounds of Gisborne and NZ's East Cape with the industrial landscape of urban Toronto, Towhead are advancing the cause of sunny days and balmy nights. Other projects include Spraoi, LOKA, Aunt Jane's Kitchen and The Cabbagetown Ceilidh Band.
