SAT OCT 18th - THE PADDINGTONS + THE DAISY RIOTS + KASIMA
Our biggest gig to date - The Paddingtons are already bone fide top 40 stars, best mates with The Libertines and...um...models for Dior Homme! Their rawcus live shows are legendary - if this bunch of gangly stars can't get you dancing then frankly there's no hope. Their debut album was an indie smash - soundwise think The Clash, Buzzcocks and Libertines...if they were Vogue's favourite band! DO NOT MISS THIS SHOW!!!
FRI NOV 21st - KID BRITISH + HOMETOWN HEROES + TBC
Look - we’ve got ANOTHER band that are the future of British music and going to be HUGE! Manchester’s Kid British have just signed a major label deal and have been played to death by Chris Moyles. Their amazing mash up of indie, ska and hip hop is The Libertines meets The Specials meets Outkast and then reworked in a Gorillaz stylee. It’s a non-stop grinning, gurning party and you're all invited!
I am trying to get a gig in for December as well but don't hold your breath for that as I only have one date to work with!
In the meantime, check out the shows that I've pinned down already and keep telling your friends about our gigs - the more people that come, the more fun they will be and the more likely I am to get bigger and better acts.

THE SHOWS
For the last two years, Selby Town Council and 4Youth have teamed up to bring quality live band gigs to Selby for the first time. The aim was to run an intial set of 6 monthly shows that allowed under 18's the opportunity to watch some of the countries fastest rising stars in their own town at a price that everyone can afford.
The shows, priced at just £1.50 each, featured three bands - one from the Selby area, an aspiring regional band and a headliner to rival anything you could see in York, Leeds, Sheffield or any other city you care to name!
The events were all staffed by professional security guards and qualified youth workers to ensure that everyone had the best time possible
The Open, The Pigeon Detectives, Harrisons, Imperial Leisure, Brigade, The Bishops, The Wombats, Zombina & The Skeletones, The Motorettes, To My Boy, Last Gang, Misty's Big Adventure, Team Waterpolo, The Kabeedies and Skeletons have all headlined and many look set to go huge with The Pigeon Detectives and The Wombats already smashing into the charts!
lollll popular? me? don't be sillayyyy. Nahh, nobody can be arsed oing anything for me and I don't see anybody now to give them money or whatever. So I'll just come by after school(: And I dared to get the school bus for the first time today!! aha. xx
Is there any point this week you'll be open later? my train doesn't get in 'til 4.38 and i need 3 more tickets. Or can I reserve them or something? People are still relying on me! lol xx
I can't get the 415 though from school. From monday I'll be getting the number 1 bus so i can spend a bit of time faffing around shopping then the train into Smellby. Yeah, well I've been saving up all my dinner money for tickets :P aha. I daren't go in the dinner hall anyway I walked in today and all these chavs just stared at me and one of them started talking to me about alcohol. Then I told them I didn't drink which was a big mistake aha.
Well I should be able to come in before 4 tomorrow tbh. 'cus I'm too scared to get on the buses atm haha. It's okay it's just weird. I'm getting a little touch of 'lets bully the new kid' but I can deal with it(: x

try Comic Book Zeroes, they're looking for gigs and they're pretty good. and Fleet Of Archadia might want one. Yes Yes I have been on all day lol. Well because I'm moving to York, Fridays would be easier so I could go straight from my new school. It just messes up the weekends I'd have with my dad but oh well:)x
