Bio
..The Town Hall Stompers play American stringband music. They approach tradition with reverence, while infusing their own ideas and character to deliver a sound and style uniquely their own. Originally conceived during a beer release party at the Town Hall Brewery in West Bank Minneapolis, the group had an immediate identity. After a year of semi-regular jams at the Town Hall, they decided to take the show out on the town. ..The Stompers are led by Nate “Sonny” Sipe of the stringband Pert' Near Sandstone, who selects the finest local acoustic musicians to jam with for each performance. ..No two performances have been the same. You may find them stomping parlor-style around a single microphone, or jumping with the intensity of a blues band. .. .......... ........ -

I like the recordings with the cloggers. The big room sound sounds sweet.
