Townsend is new to the scene with an Alternative/Acoustic Rock type of feel. They have only been together for a few months now, yet they have already started making their mark on the music scene. They have already played a number of venues such as Vino's, Juanita's, The Revolution Room, On The Rocks, and SoundStage. They recently won Vino's 2009 Battle of the Bands, being chosen out of 20 bands of varying genres. They also won second place in the Pine Bluff July 4th competition. Townsend has their own style and feel to their music. The fun and original band likes to bring new things to the table. They are currently working on their first EP, which will be available soon thanks to Upper Room Studios!
