Town Tundra is a Murmansk based band playing Metal. The group was formed from former members of two other Russian bands Banana Skin and Naily.
The new band got started in May 2008 when Alex “J.G.K.” (guitar, ex-Banana Skin) and Val D’Emar (bass, ex-Banana Skin) were looking for a new lead singer to join their band. They invited Alexx W. Crow (vox, ex-Naily) to a studio to listen to a few new songs they had composed. The result of this was that the guys decided to record a couple of tracks together.
In short, the co-operation of these musicians became more intensive and by Janaury 2009 they had already 10 songs ready. During the writing procces Fox and Muldead joind the band as a second guitarist and a drummer, which made it possible to play these new songs live. At this point the members decided to call their new band Town Tundra, which was proposed by Alexx W. Crow.
By now (March 2009) the band is finishing the recording of their first demo album.
