The small state of Connecticut is stereotyped as being the home to financially well off people but a group of it’s residents are eager to break that mold. They want to make it know as the home of a rock band. Zack Fulton (vocals), Adam Lopez (drums), Matt Alongi (guitar), Shaughn Adamski (bass), and Corey Martel (guitar) are To Write A Riot! This band is gaining recognition for power pop tunes rooted in experiences growing up in Connecticut and it’s law to party. The “Party Law” allows young adults to party as long as the parents accept sole responsibility for everyone there, thus inspiring their debut EP, Aptly named “The Party Law” hich has been downloaded over 6,000 times worlwide and counting. “We named it that because we thought it was kind of ironic that we are all kids who do our fair share of partying and having a good time,” said Adam. “Let the good times continue with hopes to successfully write music that incites ‘riots”. The band cites The Beatles and Michael Jackson as successful influences.
The band is already familiar with the vital aspect of success, having recently gotten off the road with Stages and Stereos. “Our goal was to be as busy as humanly possible on this tour, meet as many people as possible and get the music out there.”
The party boys are currently working on getting more music out. Their next EP, “The After Party”, will have fun songs with a more mature premise. The good things will continue, so keep listening. – Substream Music Press
