Ok, here's the condensed version.
I'm quirky, nerdy, and I talk too much.

Ok, now for the wordy...
I am 34. I have a fun, and sometimes dramatic family that I love to pieces. Included in that family are my younger brother, and sister, 3 beautiful nieces, my dog (she's my baby) Cassie, my cat, Diva, and a slew of other colorful characters. They make my life interesting.

I am currently working as a Respite Care Provider for my Uncle who is disabled. I just became an Independent Contractor through his brokerage, so I'll be taking on more clients in the very near future. It's an occupation I never thought would be a fit for me, but has been rewarding beyond words.

In my spare time I like to do many things. I am very into Photography, and will find any excuse to go out with my camera. Whether the photos turn out or not, the experience is so much fun!

Music is a huge part of my life as well. I like to attend local shows as often as possible. I actually joked with my mom the other day about being the only person I know who has to pay a cover charge to hang out with her friends. ha ha ha

I used to run a couple of local music publications with help from my great friend, Marie. I miss the creative aspect of that part of my life, but LOVE the lack of bullshit/politics I've found since I left it behind me.

I was born into the local music scene to a degree. My dad was in various bands, but most notably a Metal band in the 80's called, "Haven." They were incredibly popular, and I've been going to shows since I was 5 years old. I always wanted to grow up to be a musician, but stage fright kept me behind the scenes (hence the magazines). It worked out nicely though. I wouldn't trade my experiences (good and/or bad) for the world.

The biggest problem I seem to have today is neglecting my friends. I used to thrive when it came to communication. These days I can't juggle shit! My feelings for everyone are just as strong as they always were. I simply can't balance my life quite the way I used to. My attention span is for shit these days, and I am so easily distracted it's not even funny.

Just know that if you are my friend, I treasure you. I may not show it in the best of ways, but I truly do. I want to say that I'll do better, but I tend to jinx myself when I make statements like that. Having said that I just hope you always know that I wouldn't be the neurotic, nerdy chick that I am without every single one of you! tee hee
