Toxic is a Norwegian hard rock band situated in the town of Stavanger. The band signed to Rocksector Records (an independent label based in the UK) in 2008 & their 2nd album entitled "Fear" released on 1st September of the same year. Following that release the band toured the UK in October 2008, taking in many locations such as London (two dates), Manchester, Northampton, Kettering, Doncaster, Edinburgh & more.
Everything started for Toxic back in May 2003. The Band members got together and quickly established their own sound. You'll always find a lot of contrasts and dynamic
in their music & lyrics. There's an obvious link to bands from the 1970s but more contemporary references also come through.
The album "Fear" contains 14 songs with a highly inventive & atmospheric feel. It's progressive without being over-elaborate & following the eerie opener "Preludium" takes the listener along a tortured path exploring the inner meanings & issues of the human psyche, drawing to a sombre & dramatic conclusion with the haunting closer "Fear None". Ultimately this hard rock album kicks ass as confirmed by the early brilliant review comments :-

In May 2009, Toxic appeared on the main stage at the Sandnes Rock Fest, in Norway, supporting the mighty Whitesnake & Dokken.
