Influences
The Fix & Duran Duran incorporated ethereal synth sweeps and creativity best demonstrating the advancement of keys >but< the sound structure didn't have today's developed power chords like Lincoln Park and Filter -and they don't have lead as developed as Santana. NIN has contrasting dynamics but at times loses momentum completely, then blows up. I like some of his stuff in front of a PA @ 1200 watts and design my songs with the same dynamics only with a consistent beat althroughout. Acoustic Robert Edilson fronted Toxic Zebra at the Whisky in Hollywood in 2001 and the style was like Journey, Flock of Seagulls meets a 747. We played a showcase set in Hollywood, Teaszer. Cat Club, Gig & Whisky-a-GoGo just after 911 and the the chilling effects of those events were felt in the music industry. ...One song was on the burner on 9/11/01 and was almost never finished at all as it was on the burner and came to be associated with that tragedy, coming together years later in "Too Late" with singer Carol Morgan. Some 2003 CD songs still remain unfinished and since; Kick Em' kicks off a group of 2005 songs. Now that L.A. blend comes out with 3-D RSS on a horizontal stereo aural plane with 4 synth-boards and 2-modules in CD quality stereo. The World's Fastest Moving 3-D Audio Artform.
