Toy was born La Toya Jackson, older sibling of pop superstars Michael and Janet Jackson, on May 29, 1956. As La Toya Jackson, she released 10 albums over a span of 16 years. Returning to the studio as Toy nearly 10 years later, she released her first single "Just Wanna Dance" and it skyrocketed to the no. 13 position on the Billboard Dance/Club Play Charts, at which point Toy revealed that she was actually La Toya Jackson. Toy has since released a followup single, "Free The World", under her real name. "Free The World" peaked at no. 24 on the Billboard Dance/Club Play Charts. Her full album "Startin' Over" will hit stores Summer 2006.
