Ok I didn't want to do this, but it seems I have no choice.
THIS PAGE IS NOT REPRESENTED BY ANYONE FROM THE BAND, RECORD LABEL, OR ANYTHING OFFICIAL WITH TOY MATINEE OR KEVIN GILBERT.
This page was CREATED when no Toy Matinee Page existed on myspace. It was to allow others (myself at the time only) to LISTEN TO and ADD Toy Matinee songs.
The name was only chose since Toy Matinee is no longer around and the fact at the time it didn't seem to matter (I did the same with another band, which has not had NEARLY the same response as this).
So I apologize for those who want, hope, think, expect Patrick Leonard, Guy Pratt, Marc Bonilla, Bill Botrell, etc to come responding representing this page or the band. Or for that matter, the Kevin Gilbert community folks like Debbie Miller, Cintra Wilson or any of Kevin's family or other close friends (Mike Keneally, Nick DiVirgilio).
I only put this page up because I wanted a page for them. Now that it is, I don't want people to have me assume responsibility. It's just a myspace page.
I love Kevin Gilbert's music dearly, but I cannot go on pretending I represent his former band like those of you who think I may.
Thank you so much for the add! I have probably 4000 cd's I've gotten in my lifetime, and I think it's safe to say that this album is probably in my Top Ten. It's flawless! Thanks for posting the videos - I'd never seen them! Have a great '08!
Check it out, if you like the music, help support the bands and buy the albums that are available now!!
Featuring: SeventhSign, Golem, Godyva, La-Ventura, TwoThirtySeven, Masquerade, Lord Bane, Reality Grey and Warchild with previews of current releases as well as those planned for early 2007. Also included is a specially recorded acoustic version of the title track to Godyva's current album, In Good and Evil!
Thanks for the add...I absolutely love Toy Matinee... the DVD-A version of the album sounds fantastic! I hope that someday more people will discover the brilliance of this album and the brilliance of the man behind it...
