Formé en 2005, trouve ses origines entre bon vieux rock et relents rolling stoniens. « Le but du groupe, c’est de jouer de la musique sur scène et on nous contacte pas mal pour ça ! » affirme Max, chanteur-guitariste endiablé.
« Nous sommes un groupe de scène, nos chansons parlent des joies de la vie, la fête, le sexe et le rock n roll mais aussi de choses plus mystiques et obscures avec des sonorités plus mélancoliques et lourdes flirtant parfois avec le métal. Pain and Fear » en est la meilleure illustration.
Après quelques variations de line-up, le groupe s‘est solidifié autour de Maxx Flees avec Toff à la basse, figure charismatique du groupe, avec son jeu précis, percutant et une énergie sans faille sur scène ! Pierre, à la batterie nous livre un jeu de batterie précis et virtuose, et enfin 3/4 à la guitare depuis décembre 2008.
Le groupe a passé les deux dernières années sur la route à jouer en France et en Belgique entre bars et festivals, discothèques lesbiennes ou showcases dans le cadre de « l’Hypnotic Tour ».
a profité de l'énergie accumulée lors de la tournée a pour enregistrer son second EP « Sex toys and Rock n Roll ».
Le groupe a signé avec la firme Believe et propose ses titres sur les plateformes de téléchargement du monde entier depuis février 2009. Il poursuit sa route sur scène et prépare un nouvel album pour début 2010 !

Formed in 2005, Toys in the Forest is at the crossroad of blues and Rock and roll , mixed with some heavy metal influences. " The band was formed to perform live, we are a live act and many venues book us because we do the show, the rock n roll show" says Max. (lead vocals and guitar). The songs are all about life, parties, sex and rock n roll, but we also explore a dark side with slow tempos and heavy riffs. We have a few songs about life after death such as "Pain and Fear" .
We love rock n roll music, we have have always been big fans of bands like iron maiden , Thin Lizzy or motorhead
After a few changes in the line up of the band, the band has spent the last two years on the road to promote their second Ep" Sex , Toys and Rock n roll", playing in bars, lesbian clubs or rock festivals during their Hypnotic tour .
The band is all about rock n roll, we can play almost anywhere as long as we can plug in !
Toys in the Forest are back in the studios to write and record their third opus due in december 09.
In the meantime, they are still promoting their rock n roll on Tvs, radios and Live gigs
