I'm here to see if even someone like me can carve out some kind of existence in the world of music without being beautiful or image-conscious. We'll see....
I'm really a songwriter, and co-write with a variety of lovely people; I also work with a number of talented young singers, but some of the songs I just have to keep for myself. Or at least allow them to grow before handing them over. So that's what this page is all about.
I'm not the world's greatest musician, but I do the best with what I have. I like melody and hooks, and don't hear enough of either in a lot of the music being offered today. I love it when I do find something new and special though. I'm always on the lookout for exellent musicians prepared to help me record some tunes in exchange for a cup of tea and a few rich tea biscuits. That's cookies to you American folk.
I'm not proud - I'm not trying to BE anybody - all my songs are available for anyone else to use or record....with the right legal stuff of course. Feel free to get in touch whether you're a movie producer in Hollywood or a punk band from East Kilbride.
