The idea of Pecnoc started around 2005.
Both Jan-Willem and Maarten started making music with trackers like fasttracker and S3m at an early age. While Jan-Willem started to experiment more and more with (home-made) synthesizers and kidstoys which ultimately resulted in an experimental live-gig in O.J.V. De Koornbeurs in Delft, Maarten puted his creative energy into producing music on his computer and deejaying. After playing a lot of parties he began to miss a control over the music he was playing and decided to play more music live and on the fly. It was the same time Jan-Willem was searching for a format to bring his music live. Because of the use of alternative instruments like bended keyboards and kidstoys the sound was special but also a lot could go wrong on stage. Then they found each other and joint forces. Pecnoc was born and huge plans were made!
While Jan Willem lived for short on the other side of the world the idea of Pecnoc stayed.
Since the summer of 2007 Pecnoc is back and a lot stronger than before!
More live gig's are planned and we like to see you soon!
Vrijdag spelen wij in Delft in Café Verderop (met supportact). De eerste band zal om 23.00u spelen en wij ergens daarna. Het adres is Westvest 9 (tegenover het station).
