Where did this name come from?
Born Cire Antony Cintron and wanting
to fit in with such a rare name as Cire,
he used his middle name Antony which became
"Tony" and was eventually nicknamed "T".
“The T”, according to the dictionary,
is the epitome of something ...as in,
“his mix is flawless, he is the T.”
Pronounced
T, PRO, MIX
TPROMIX (just T to his friends) Stands 6'2",
with tattoos, talent and an exotic blend of heritage
this world class DJ/Producer is well respected in
the music business. After producing his first solo
record, he almost gave up the biz because so many
of the DJ/Producers he looked up to gave him
incredible accolades. He said he "felt like he already
did what he wanted to do, now the rest was gravy".
That was well over a decade ago...
T arrived NYC via Washington DC
at the tender age of 17, having already played as
resident to DC's largest club. He soon continued his
success in NY playing clubs like the legendary;
Limelight, Roxy, Tunnel, Milk, Octagon, Warehouse,
CafeConLeche, Escuelita, Exit, Krash, Cheetah and
the HotBoyz Pride Events featuring
Mary J Blige, Lil Kim & Ashanti.

And yes, even humorously,
the notorious record that started it all...
Wonder Woman.
Finding an even larger following with each mix,
T started a couple of notorious lil parties in NYC.
The first was an extension of his earliest promo
in Washington DC called MILK. MILK Mondays
was the brainchild of TPRO along w/ original
partner Ed Bailey (Tracks DC / Velvet Nation).
MILK started on sundays at the Fifth Column in DC.
After a somewhat short life and T moving to NYC,
he re-envisioned MILK to Mondays.
Starting at the WEB on the upper east side of
Manhattan, then moving to SOUND FACTORY BAR,
then CHAMPS, then KING,
then to its final demise on 16th Street.
MILK was one of the longest running theme parties
in NYC history, surviving through 5 venue changes
and 8 long years.
Second was a festive Latino function that ran
4 years in NYC and 1 year in Miami called CUCHIFRITO.
T thinks party names should have deeper
meanings then just PARTY,
although that is 2 the point.
CUCHIFRITO, like MILK before it, had 2 meanings.
CUCHIFRITOS are a chain of Spanish Harlem
food shops with, shall we say,
some extra non-healthy foods.
T passed by one such shop night after night,
looking at the blood sausages, pork fats and
day old greasy chickens.
One night it hit him. The food there was
kind of like nightlife.
You didn't necessarily
NEED anything they were serving,
but sometimes you really WANTED it.
Along the way T created many theme parties
BoyzRus
Caramel
Fuk Fridays
Hipop
Juicy
Movado

Sunday School

The Spot.
Now living in Miami, T has resident DJ'd at some of the

Torpedo.
He also co-promoted the 3 legendary annuals
called "Castillo De Carnaval"
thrown at the Mansion / Residence
of Photographers Bob Risse & Luiz Guimaraes.
The tradition of long running theme nights seems
to be coming true again with his forth year
at the helm of TASTEE, a Thursday Night party
at TORPEDO in Ft Lauderdale that has
T's signature MIX of HIPOP, Electro and
Tribal flavor and shows no sign of stopping.
He also continues 2 DJ/VJ @ SPLASH in NYC,
reports 4 BILLBOARD magazine's dance chart,
is hip-hop music columnist 4 several magazines,
does graphic and web design and even
finds time 2 produce some of the best
DVD visual installations (a/k/a Ttv)
4 clients all over the world.
His last commercial CD, TRIBAL PLEASURES,
was the biggest selling Remix CD in the
Jellybean Recordings history.... followed up by
The floor filler "Switch it Up" by CITRONELLA,
Remixes Of “Fuck You” By Lily Allen
Remixes for John Legend’s “If Your Out There”
and the forthcoming THINK AGAIN CD
full of original tracks due October 09,
T shows no sign of stopping the beats anytime soon.
Video Remixing,
Music Production,
Staging,
Graphic Design, or
DJing...
T is truly bringing multimedia 2 the masses.
Well-mannered,
well skilled,
well loved, & well,
just plain cute.
