   About Tracey Browne
I’m writing my second album at the moment, these songs are demos of what will eventually go on it... I’m aiming to have at least an ep’s worth of songs ready to release soon, which I will be selling at gigs to fund a tour in summer 2008.

2007 was busy, what with providing guitar and backing vocals for Windmill (for a few short months) and accompanying GeEkgiRL on the road; signing up for the RPM challenge to write a load of new songs in a month, having a single I recorded for The Shallow Call played on Lamacq’s 6Music show... these are all things, and good ones they are. I’m learning some valuable lessons too, which I hope will reflect at some point in the future.

2008 begins with a slightly new direction, as I’ve joined my good friend Becca Williams to be one of her Broken Biscuits. Playing piano (yay!) and providing lovely harmonies, together with cellist Anna we will be folking it up in an intimate venue near you, from June onwards...

Previously, I put up songs from my first album, released in 2003, which you can -
- or you can get it from me at gigs, if you feel the inclination for a copy! For any minusoneraver fans out there (my previous band), I’m just putting the finishing touches on a cd of our tunes and a few covers, which you can have for free when it’s finished. I’ll put more details up when that time comes around.

Thanks for being brilliant this weekend, I'll remember that gig for a long time.
Of course you now own at least another 500 pet bikers to add to your collection.
Have you scraped all the mud off everything yet?

I'll see you soon, regards to Trish.

How do you do Miss Tracey, that was a splendid & fabulous (see two more words than 'Great!')show you played on Thursday...I've been listening to your myspacey noodlings whilst slowly dying of crisp and hot chocolate poisoning on reception, I should be going for a run each morning, star jumps, swimming, something other than becoming a blob who exists solely in windowless rooms and wretched outdoors shops...I don't know why I am telling you all this...Jolly well done once again for Thursday, I left wanting to write lots of songs...Cheerio x

Hi Songbird

Thanks for the fantastic performance at the 100% Biker show on Saturday.
I think it's fair to say the bikers section of your fan-base has again grown by several hundred.

Time to get that album finished so they can all listen some more.

Bad news Songbird

The fascist forces of 'law and order' in south Wales have forced the cancellation of the Welsh National Motorcycle Show on the most spurious bullshit reasoning you could imagine.

I'm sorry for the short notice but it only got announced today.
