I work with previously established ad layouts for grocery stores across the midwest, adding and changing items and artwork to their needs and specifications.
I created artwork for seasonal-themed ads featuring the characters Shurfine Sam and Shurfresh Sal between 2004-2006. Previously I have drawn editorial cartoons for a magazine called Nebraska Quarterhorse.

About me: "All I want is what's coming to me. All I want is my fair share."
-- Sally Brown, A Charlie Brown Christmas
I am a cartoonist! Or at least that is what I tell myself before I go to sleep at night to stop myself from crying.
I'm quirky and whimsical and annoying, probably!
I am a snob about my musical tastes and I like hoity-toity artsy films as much as summer blockbusters.

I am crazy in love with comic books, music, animation, television and film and would love to someday be involved in any and all of them. (thus setting myself up for countless crushed dreams)
***ON SALE NOW! WILDGUARD: INSIDER #3 by Todd Nauck, published by Image Comics, featuring my first published comic book work! Shake something in celebration! Anything! (except babies)***
Who I'd like to meet: Joss Whedon (other than just staring at him in awe from across the DC Direct booth), Wes Anderson, Sufjan Stevens (in hopes that his genius would rub off somehow), Zeb Wells (for whatever reason, the universe does not want our paths to cross), Todd Dezago (because we've never met in person), Stephen Colbert and Mitch Hedberg (in Heaven).
I would just stand there and mumble and salivate, though.
And I would be far too terrified to meet Joe Madureira (he is forever my Art God).
Thanks! hahahaha i love those cowls. Cant wait to get my entire suit completed. I'm working on a second one made of pure latex. A little easier to maneuver in for crime fighting. ;p
[blush] I wouldn't go as far as to say *that*. After all, the main story was only alright. But there was a short story by this one artist in particular that really stood out. Some real talent there. I think she's got the chops to make it. Gosh darn it if her name isn't escaping me though. Maw-somethingorother. You *may* have heard of her. Good stuff, that one. I'm sure her name'll come to me eventually. [gigantic, goofy grin]
Happy Free Comic Book Day! Only the most holy of holy holidays (unlike that Christmas deal -- totally a Hallmark holiday) I trust you're spending it in the appropriate fashion. ^__^
Hey Tracie I saw your article in the Norfolk paper big time congrats on that, too bad I have to work tomorrow I would've loved to come up and check out the whole shindig. Again congrats girl. Best of luck, and wishes for you in the future!
Peach Plum Pear is a song that was at the end of one of the animated shorts on that DVD I brought over. The one with the Asian girl who goes to London or something and bumps her head on the side of the pool.
At least you were able to spend it with someone fantastic. [Said in a friendly albeit slightly flirtatious manner ;-)] I eagerly anticipate seeing what you've produced. For the time being, I'm gonna go polish off the last bit of coffee and entertain myself with some Arrested Development. Ciao. ^_^
