Track3 Studio is nested in the Great Smoky Mountains of Western Carolina 4000 feet elevation with spectacular views. The studio is owned and operated by BarryG and Serena Heart. Both are musicians, work with the artists in business management as well as running the studio day to day. Track3 is a hybrid analog/digital studio using ultra fast PC's, Windows Pro 2000 and Samplitude 2496 for hard disc tracking and cd mastering. The facility is a home based studio for now with ongoing expansion plans in place for later this year. The main mixer board is a M3700 with the +10 volt package, out through 24 channels of fiber optics to a Nuendo 3x adat pci buss interface. Sound quality is superb with special AC line and digital quantum filtering. Current projects involve reggae, hip-hop-urban, electronica, world sound, and spoken word. We have been working with a talented pool of studio and performance musicians in the local area as well as internationally. We have a isolation booth for vocals and all the downstairs living room functions as a live room recording area. This space also has an additional performance and composition zone used by MindHeart(c) for rehearsing and music tracking.
