Don't be afraid of high hopes or plans that seem to be out of reach. Life is meant to be experienced, and every situation allows for learning and growth.
Motivation is a positive starting point, and action places you on a forward path. A dream is a blueprint of a goal not yet achieved; the only difference between the two is the effort involved in attaining what you hope to accomplish.
Let your mind and heart urge you on; allow the power of your will to lead you to your destination.
Don't count the steps ahead; just add up the total of steps already covered, and multiply it by faith, confidence, and endurance.
Always remember that for those who persist, today's dreams are transformed into tomorrow's successes.
I just did a drive from california to kentucky, whew! It was a mighty adventure alone! I just moved to kentucky and it is beautiful. Lots of trees. Happy day! Love..blessings..inspiration..and hugs back!!
If
we were to take away much of our daily stresses, the rush to get up
just to "survive the day", we could then awaken simply and naturally to
a REAL "Good Morning".
The New dawn (Jim Warren)
There
are a lot of old myths in some of the more remote islands such as
Hawaii. This lends much freedom of the imagination for an artist like
me to paint the famous Goddesses of the islands such as Pele, the
Volcano Goddess
Pele's Passion (Jim Warren)
I call
this "Pele's Passion". I have simply painted Pele, the Hawaiian Goddess
of the Volcano... Full of Passion, which I personally feel is
symbolized by the volcano.
Pele Rising (Jim Warren)
Pele is a Hawaiian Goddess. I became familiar with this while on a tour of galleries on the Islands in 1994.
When
I was asked to paint the door from Jim Morrison's (The Doors) childhood
home, I gladly accepted the challenge. Not only because the project was
to auction the doors off to raise money for charity, but because the
music of the Doors was an early influence on my art in the 60s when I
began my career.
Two of my paintings were named after Doors songs; The Unknown Soldier
and Riders on the Storm.
The doorbell on the door frame plays "Light My Fire"
This door is for sale now and will be auctioned off soon at local
Florida fund raising events.
