I love reseach. My novels are set in Victorian England and my bookshelves are packed with research material. I also love reading fiction, gardening and spending time with my husband and our three feline sons.
Music
My favorite musician is Robbie Williams. He rocks! Others often repeated in my iTunes are Lifehouse, Kalen Porter, Clay Aiken, Christina Aguilera, The Pussy Cat Dolls, Girlicious, Daughtry, David Cook, Maroon 5, 30 Seconds to Mars, The Killers, Panic at the Disco, and Fallout Boy.
Movies
My favorite movies span a wide range. They include the first two X-Men movies, Poseidon, The Mummy, and both Pirates of the Caribbean. In addition, I also love The Phantom of the Opera and Pride and Prejudice (both the 2004 movie and the prior BBC miniseries).
Television
My current guilty pleasures are ONE TREE HILL and THE BACHELOR. I'm also a huge fan of LOST, DOCTOR WHO, BIG BROTHER, GREY's ANATOMY, and MASTERPIECE CLASSIC. My DVR is set to record each.
I love anything and everything Jane Austen. I also adore JK Rowling (her Harry Potter series has kept me on the edge of my seat since The Sorcer's Stone). Other favorite authors include Julia Quinn, Judith McNaught,Susan Elizabeth Phillips, Jennifer Crusie, Lisa Gardner, Linda Howard, Maeve Binchy and John Lescroart.

Who I'd like to meet: I'd love to have tea with Jane Austen, one of the most talented authors ever to be published. I'd invite all of the characters from PRIDE AND PREJUDICE to join us, with the exception of Lydia and Mr. Wickham, of course (we all know how much Mr. Darcy and Georgiana despise Mr. Wickham and rightfully so). What an entertaining afternoon that would be, don't you think?
In addition, I love to meet fellow authors and readers who adore the written word as much as I do.
I'd also like to meet Hugh Jackman and Robbie Williams because ... so many reasons, so little time! Short answer: what woman wouldn't want to meet them?
