Tracy as performer: Tracy is currently best known for her work with Progressive rock band Landmarq, for whom she has been lead vocalist for the last 10 years, recording and touring with the band and at present working on the bands next studio album. She has also released a solo album: 'From Ignorance To Ecstacy' (Thin Ice/Verglas) which was produced by Clive Nolan (Arena) and Karl Groom Threshold). Among many and varied artists and bands, Tracy has worked with ex-Genesis guitarist, Steve Hackett, Clive Nolan (Arena, Strangers On A Train), Rick Wakeman (Yes) and actor Robert Powell on Clive Nolan's 'The Hound of the Baskervilles' album. She has toured with vocalist/bassist John Wetton (Asia, King Crimson, UK, Roxy Music). Tracy was also a member of rock band Quasar and has previously recorded with a 'quirky' pop project, 'Dancing On Stones', who contributed a high-contending song for the James Bond movie, 'Goldeneye'. She was twice voted 'Best Female Vocalist' by the international readers of the UK-based 'Classic Rock Society' (1995 and 1998). Tracy as teacher: Having taught 'Voice Building' in Islington's Arts and Media School, Highbury Fields, Islington Green and Stratford Schools, she has drawn her own diverse experiences in different areas of rock and pop music and has become a much sought-after instructor to singers at all stages of their career. Tracy also worked with pop vocal group S-Club-7 on their Children In Need single, 'Have You Ever', and with French pop/dance star Bettina Anthony as both vocal coach and vocal arranger. Bettina's single 'No Nagging' (Krysty Music) has been used for the Pokemon film. -

TRACY HITCHINGS - A Brief Biography
Tracy as performer
