TRACY HITCHINGS (In brief - much more to follow...)

Tracy as performer...

Tracy is currently best known for her work with Progressive rock band Landmarq, for whom she has been lead vocalist for the last 10 years, recording and touring with the band and at present working on the bands next studio album.

She has also released a solo album: 'From Ignorance To Ecstacy' (Thin Ice/Verglas) which was produced by Clive Nolan (Arena) and Karl Groom Threshold).

Among many and varied artists and bands, Tracy has worked with ex-Genesis guitarist, Steve Hackett also with Clive Nolan (Arena, Strangers On A Train), Rick Wakeman (Yes) and actor Robert Powell on 'The Hound of the Baskervilles' album. She has toured with vocalist/bassist John Wetton (Asia, King Crimson, UK, Roxy Music).

Tracy has been a member of rock band Quasar and has previously recorded with a 'quirky' pop project, 'Dancing On Stones', who contributed a high-contending song for the James Bond movie, 'Goldeneye'.

She was twice voted 'Best Female Vocalist' by the international readers of the UK-based 'Classic Rock Society' (1995 and 1998).

A full biography & discography will appear soon.

Tracy as teacher...

Having taught 'Voice Building' in Islington's Arts and Media School, Highbury Fields, Islington Green and Stratford Schools, she has drawn her own diverse experiences in different areas of rock and pop music and has become a much sought-after instructor to singers at all stages of their career.

Her work has included S-Club-7 on their Children In Need single, 'Have You Ever', and with French pop/dance star Bettina Anthony as both vocal coach and vocal arranger. Bettina's single 'No Nagging' (Krysty Music) has been used for the Pokemon film.

Further information and an extensive photo gallery can be seen at Landmarq's official website, 'The Spiral Staircase' (www.landmarq.net).

Hey there,

Here's one from left field...

Ever wondered what to do in the event of a nuclear threat?

A while ago I found stuff that inspired me to make this film:

Living Under the Shadow of the Nuclear Umbrella

Both artistic (ensure you get the background music!) and educational, it primarily comprises official British government civil defence advice.

Though source materials are quite aged, much remains relevant today.

I encourage all to visit the YouTube page to learn more (Show support! Rate! Comment!) and responsibly circulate as widely as possible, here:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UaIim3Rj7L4

Help to raise awareness.

Say have you checked out my web site recently?

Take care and keep in touch.

Best,
Faber.
