I write songs. I also sing them. I play guitar, bass, and drums too. I have done this for a long time. I can't help it. It's bigger than me. It's in my blood. My mom was a jazz singer. My uncle was a jazz drummer. My grand father played piano for silent films. I aspire towards Jedi status. However, I decided to stay in my city of origin...and help with the family business. I currently play guitar in a band called fantome. Prior to that I played guitar, was a singer/songwriter, recorded, and toured in several bands ranging from jazz to neo-soul to hardcore punk. I got my musical career started in a band called Gothic Playground. I also collect vintage guitars. They don't just hang on the wall. I play them. I have a few cats . I recently wrote a children's book about my awesome cats.
I currently have a pretty amazing stockpile of songs. Enough for an entire new CD. As soon as I finish up some other musical projects and get some free time, I will record my masterpiece :) Until then, I will remain invisible.
I think humans have stopped evolving and are, in fact, devolving. Just my opinion...
Update 11/4/08:OK. Considering the outcome of our recent Presidential election, I must give humans some credit for evolving a bit. We've still got a long way to go, but now I have hope.
