CASHnCHECKS have a unique sound focusing on the Memphis type of rock-a-billy dance tunes. With a complete sound of multiple instruments coupled with a bluegrass type of harmony it is difficult to label the music as country or bluegrass or rock-a-billy or honky-tonk.
Some of the vocal tracks for "Tennessee Whiskey" were recorded at MacAlley Studios in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. A special thanks to Ian for all his help.

Tracy Lynn Cash has always been a performer and writer of stories and poems. Upon meeting James Paycheck, an accomplished musician/songwriter/composer, the two began to put their talents together and have developed a sound that is in demand by the Nashville record labels. The duo is called CASHnCHECKS.
Tracy Lynn Cash & James Marvin Paycheck are recording with the major indie label Platinum Plus Universal Records in Nashville Tennessee. The famous Hall of Fame award winning producer Robert Metzgar is the producer/manager of the latest CASHnCHECKS album called "Tennessee Whiskey". Metzgar has put together a team of the top names in the business to help produce the Tennessee Whiskey album which will be available in stores for the 2008 season. We would like to give a special
thanks to Charles Fach Jr. for all his hard work on the album, plus the extensive efforts of Tony Migliore, co-producer, arranger and friend.
The musical style of the couple is mostly rock-a-billy with many country and honky-tonk tunes as well. There is even talk of a gospel album in the near future. Onstage Tracy Lynn and James perform their own original songs singing solo and duets, blending it all with favorites written by other artists.
The CASHnCHECKS album "Tennessee Whiskey" contains an original song written by Johnny Cash and June Carter plus an original unreleased song written by June, for her and J.R. Four songs on the album were written by the famous song writing team of John Rich and Gretchen Wilson plus a collaborated song with Vince Gill.
Billy Wayne of Associated Artists Management, Oklahoma City, is the Manager/Booking Agent for the group and is the hardest working man in the business.
The 2008 CASHnCHECKS Tennessee Whiskey tour will begin at the 68th Annual Sturgis Motorcycle Rally, on August 4, 2008, the largest venue of its type in the world.
