my name is bill- but due to some sort of insecurity issues, i go by the name of tracy morrow. i play guitar and sing very simple songs. i used to play in a band called barrel harbor where i used to roll on the floor a lot and pour beer over my head. i don't do that anymore, at least not on stage. on friday, september 30th, 2005, i recorded an album called "morning is the end of the day" at electrical audio in chicago. it is currently on sale at my shows and a few places in buffalo. "olcott beach", "new jerusalem road" and "its your birthday" are from that record. if youre not around buffalo and you would like a copy, just send me a message and ill send you one for little money. in january of 2006, i began collaborating with local psych-acoustic duo, the magi chippie. after playing around town with them for a year, i returned to electrical, with magi chippie in tow, on thursday, february 8, 2007 to record "someday you will find a home", a new 8 song album. the record was recorded live to two track tape with no overdubs. i have finally put some songs up.
in the past two years, tracy morrow and the magi chippie have shared the stage with califone, magnolia electric company, willard grant conspiracy, thalia zedek, espers, and nikki sudden. playing solo, i have performed with smog, mark kozelek, michael gira, jason molina, david bazan, sin ropas, and allestair roberts
a new album is already written and we are hoping to record it in autumn 2008

bill, I often find that when I am in a nostalgic mood, or pensive, I make my way to your profile and listen to your voice. I hope that the magi are treating you well. I hope that guitars are loving you, and you are loving them back. I'm just really hopeful and I missed that, it's good to listen. hope the morning finds you taco possessed and beer willing.
Bill - Thanks for the add, bro. Oddly enough, I'm actually listening to some old Barrel Harbor right now. I got do something while the audio on my short film renders - might as well drink, listen to Barrel Harbor and sit on myspace.
So, when's the next Tracy Morrow and the Magi Chippie show at the 'hawk? I'll try to actually make it before your done this time.
