Static Rain is a 2 piece band from the beautiful Yorkshire town of Keighley. Band members Tony Garthwaite and Jacob Barlow formed the band in 2008, driven by a joint passion for both electronic music and retro synths. The music they produce can be described as electronic pop with catchy choruses and memorable riffs that are prominent in all of their songs, making them popular with a very wide audience. Following their initial success on MySpace, Static Rain continues to build a solid fan base and a strong reputation as a live act. The band is currently looking for gigs from August 2009 onwards throughout the whole of the UK.

THIS SATURDAY 21st Feb at the trades club in Hebden Martin Deane (Bassquake, Trailer Trash) will be the guest DJ for our first "Later @ the Trades" from 11pm on
"later at the trades" is a new idea for the trades club. After the band finishes on SAturday often people just go home..so we thought it would be good to put on a separate event after the band. so that there is somewhere to go dancing towards the end of the evening.. and so "Later @ the Trades" was born.
Admission is free to those who have paid to see the band.. but if you just come along for "Later" it will be £2 in.
Come along to the Trades Club this saturday for the first night and lets make it a success!
