WE ARE THE REAL TRADESMEN!
The Tradesmen officially formed together in winter of 2003. The band was
formed out of misfit members from the ashes of several bands in the Erie, Pennsylvania area. These bands included:
The Bastard Brigade (T.J.)
Eternal Conflict (Jeremy)
Go Go Rays (Mike R)
The Coffin Bangers (Darren)
The band was given the name as its "gimmick". Most of the
members are constuction trade workers. A Pipefitter/Plumber, a Painter, a Glazier, An HVAC technician, An Insulator.
You may notice that many of our songs are very working class oriented.
We are proud to be a working class band. Forever supporting
and being a voice of the working class men and women of this nation.
The band lied basically dormant for 2- 2 1/2 years due to some internal
problems. During this time we did play a few shows and we made many
friends.
In late 2005 or early 2006 the band worked out its issues
and was strongly revived relearning some previously written material
and writing new material. More recently adding another member,
Danny(Bagpipes, Tin whistle). Although, the band is I suppose considered "new". The response from our fans thus far has been outstanding.
Thank you to all of our friends everywhere who are behind us.
The primary influences of this band is Punk, Hardcore, Rock, Reggae, Ska, Metal, Folk and Celtic. Which has shown so far to be a recipe for some bad ass street rock.
The band has recently recorded a full length album. We are looking
for a good record label help support this great album. Although,
we might hold for a few more months to record other great new material.
We are always up for playing shows so drop us a line anytime.
