About me: What is Traffic?
Traffic is an online re-seller of name brand underground streetwear & fashion. We are located in Downtown New Orleans, La.
The Traffic Story:
Traffic was founded in 2006 to serve as Fashion Police to the less forward in a world populated by Coogie newbies. Traffic was created to provide a universally accessible alternative - a boutique to outfit cutting edge culture. Plus, it seemed like it would be fun to start a web site & get free clothes.
Against the odds, Traffic is determined to weather the storm & be a dot.com survivor! Traffic has never received any venture investment and is growing solely through the hard work of the Traffic staff & the support of the many we consider to be part of the Traffic extended family.
Most members of Traffic's staff is in their 20's. We don't just work for Traffic we live it (& all have closets full of clothes to prove it!).
Having only one computer, storing clothes in a storage compartment, working out of a tiny apartment, a crazy landlord in downtown Carrollton, a crazy hosting company, low-money, no money, late pay checks, drinking binges, a flood that washed the whole city, and about a million people telling us "the Internet, ha ha ha, you will never make money on the Internet!"
But through it all we know we will make it for one reason: you!
Despite everything we're up against & all the crazy shit we go through, we know we will have incredible support from our partner brands & you, our customers. Don't ever doubt us, and spread the word, be patient when we screw up, & give us love when we do things right!
For we will be eternally grateful! Now go look good!
