Tragedy of the Commons formed in early 2005, combining the best elements of 4 bands, with members from Disarm, Oncolio, (Moses and) The Mufflers and 24/7. With a sound like no other, they flip through genres at whim whilst maintaining a solid theme and a unique sound, combining a plethora of individual influences to create a unified whole. Their work rate is impressive, proving time and time again that they have the ability to step up and blow a crowd away and their live show is renowned for its intensity and extreme energy, with all four members giving everything every time, unafraid to break standard practices to get the audience humming. The most obvious attribute that shines through everything is that Tragedy of the Commons are not only a band who love what they do but also know how to make you love what they do. While their ensemble of orchestrated noise compliments the often charismatic vocals, the energy and onstage enthusiasm of this band sets them apart from anyone who would attempt to fly an alternate flag. The band had to take a six-month hiatus in 2005 after Jeremy Wishart seized an opportunity to explore Canada but now are back and better than before. Keep your eyes peeled.

I think about it every day, and almost every day now I find the time to actually do it and never once ever have I ever regretted swimming. There are plenty of opportunities and well arranged places to swim at almost any time of day in within most of the cities you where might be reading this. Regular swimming has changed my life for the better and it could change yours.
A lot of you might be wondering how you can apply this info to your own lives and lets be honest, it would be easier to talk about this in person. Most of you reading this will know me personally but you may live in a different city to me making direct conversation difficult.
But don't worry yourself. I'm travelling to almost every city that I know anyone in with my band Batrider in the next month or so, so I'm probably coming to your town very soon. If so, I'd be more than glad to spend some time in personal one on one consultations chewing the fat, talking about old and/or future times and discussing how regular swimming can benefit you and how you can easily integrate it into your daily routine. Contact me to arrange an appropriate meeting time.
Here are the dates that Batrider will be playing in particular towns:
My father used to extol the virtues of regular swimming to me as a young man on almost a daily basis. I didn't really used to listen to him, thinking his experiences weren't particularly relevant to mine. Now that I swim regularly I think not listening to him was one of the biggest mistakes I ever made. Please don't make the same mistakes I have
