the recruitment party will be held during a regular skate session and will include free skating lessons along with some very basic derby techniques! volunteers for reffing are also encouraged to show up!

big girls, scrawny girls, giant girls and teeny tiny girls are all encouraged to come and skate....roller derby takes all kinds to make the skating go round!
*before anyone gets to go full on they must pass a skills test and a written test. no one is allowed to touch you (unless its after practice at a bar and you want them to!) and you are not allowed to touch anyone else until after both tests are passed!
skill tests are usually passed within the first month or two; some people take a little longer, some people can pass it in the first week. it all depends on your need for hard hitting, fast paced, super awesome sporting!
calendars are on super sale! Only $7 for an 18 month wall hanging good time...not to mention a portion of the proceeds will be donated to st. judes childrens hospital! we only have a few left, get them get them get them!
if youre looking for a bit more international derby mayhem this year, then travel with the tcrs over to birmingham england where we'll be bouting the birmingham blitz derby dames!
we plan on taking back the states bragging rights and claiming some international fame!

as of tuesday march 18th birminghams roller derby league and the shriners have joined hats and skates to become team awesome! all practices and all bouts will now be held at the zamora shriners temple in irondale!
tcr will now be having SATURDAY BOUTS along with ALCOHOL SALES, beer and bar!
