Produced by Shaun O’ Callaghan (Gyroscope, Birds of Tokyo) and Tragic Delicate, the album explores the universal struggle with love, regret and purpose while flirting with the darker notions of abandonment, rejection and isolation. It's about the way we all get tangled up sometimes, and the difficulties we encounter putting things straight.
Tragic Delicate occupy an unusual musical space where rock and folk shake hands. They've recorded an album where the rustic tones of acoustic guitar are accompanied by intricate rhythms and sweeping string arrangements. Focused by the pure tones of Aaron Sopolinski’s vocals, Tragic Delicate explore a wide range of melodic soundscapes, from the heavy to the introspective without ever sounding over-stretched. The talented Adam Weston and Anthony Jackson from Birds Of Tokyo provide Tragic Delicate with a thumpingly tight backbone for cellist Belinda Porte to weave her layers of subtle finesse.
