I've been recording quite a bit. These tracks are typically done as quickly as possible with little to no forethought. I'll take a sound, technique or mood I want to attempt and build a song around it. It's a sort of musical sketching, hence why I call the finished collections of these tracks Sketchbooks. Thus far, I've completed two such projects, with the third nearing completion (as of fall 2008). I feel the tone of each Sketchbook can be described as following:
Sketchbook One is a dry autumn leaf.
Sketchbook Two is a fully blossomed flower.
And Sketchbook Three is a dog that learned how to talk.
Yeah, I'm talking to you on AIM right now, but I don't want to change the subject, so anyway, if you could send me the song files, that'd be freakin' awesome!
Love them all-- EX 30 sounds like it could be at the beginning of a really cool action movie; like, the hero is running into battle or saving lives or something. AWESOME.
I have to say, I'm definitely entranced with all this new stuff, you've done an excellent job, especially considering that you were mostly just screwing around when you produced them. Congrats my friend!
Hey!, your welcome. expressing the feelings, emotions, and colors in your head is a beautiful things. it only produces good music, all depends on the ears listening.. ~_<
