It all started when i met john in oct of 2002. We where two mucsicans that just started playing music and wanted to have a place where people could come by and jam. John and friends, such as, austin, kurt and I, transformed a small tralier on his grandparents land into a bad ass jam spot. Years rolled by and the trailer stood strong, the people partied and muscians had a chance to strut their shit. John is a good friend to this day and i understand that people have to change for others sometimes, but now that john is gone. THe newest spot has now moved to Cincinnati. The new space is a 24 hour 7 days a week jam space. Loud music when ever it feels right. The music that you are hearing right now is me on the acoustic and the improv is josh and I. The song with the panio was made up by me and profromed by Justin. THe song is ruff, i know. Change is justin and I and Lauren is Josh and I. Lyrics are a big deal to me that is why their is none. Make sure to check out our new jams and at the beginning of each month.
The recorderings where done with a Mr-8 and the mic is the size of a eraser.
I will be getting recording mics from next months jams.
Hi! Just wanted to make sure all my friends know that my new erotic horror novel SIREN will be in stores everywhere at the end of July! I hope you'll take a look at this dark (and wet!) novel of obsession; I really think it's one of my best works.
I'll be debuting it this weekend at the Famous Monsters Convention in Indianapolis, but you can pre-order a copy now on Amazon.com, or take a peek at the evocative art of the limited hardcover edition over at The Horror Mall.
Bryan Smith, author of The Killing Kind called Siren, "A richly lyrical and melancholic meditation on loss and desperate yearning. It is also a superbly effective exercise in soul-ripping terror. Modern horror doesn’t get much better than this".
And Jonathan Maberry, author of The Wolfman said, "With Siren, John Everson brings horror fiction back to its roots: scary, sexy and surprising. His best work yet"!
I'll check it out when i get my comp fixed or when my friend gets some speakers for her computer. But until then i can't listen to it. I'll call you sometime this week the numbers the same right?
