Trailer Wars: Bellingham’s monthly Movie Trailer challenge! TW is a monthly competition in which local creative types complete Trailers for non-existent films based on an ever-changing set of criteria. Each month, a set of strict guidelines is established and teams/individuals have until the screening date to complete submissions, at which time entries will be shown and a victor chosen by audience vote. Trailer Wars is completely OPEN competition to anyone wishing to participate (no invitation required). Submissions need only adhere to the month’s posted criteria to enter the fray on Screening Night.
Much like the beloved game of Square Ball, Trailer Wars works with a constantly shifting set of rules to keep things fresh and interesting. Criteria can range from a theme/genre as broad as “Zombies” to a specific list of tasks (e.g. certain camera angles, phrases spoken) or anything in between. The month’s standards are set by the previous month’s winner, so we ask that you come to Screening Night prepared to publicly lay down the next month’s gauntlet in the event of your victory.
We feel that trailers are often the best parts of movies jammed together to entice people to scope a flick. By using the form here, filmmakers are able to shoot disconnected pieces of their awesome movie idea without creating an entire standalone story. So get out there, work on that idea you had last year. Tell your mom. Tell your sister. Tell Granny Sue.
Check out blog for lists of previous criteria, winners, and links to the best part: the Trailers themselves.

I just wanted to point out that on June 29th Bearkat will be playing at the Green Frog. I'm all for extending the date in order to include more videos. But does it have to be on that Wednesday? :D
Had sooo much fun making a trailer! Before you post mine on the world wide web of internets I'm going to give you a different version, as I made some minor tweaks.
