6 1/2 pertinent things about Trainlight:
1. We're a Pop – Electric and sometimes Edgy Rock band.
2. We eat a lot of Mc'Donalds because it’s cheap - and a lot of apples because the Mc'Donalds makes us feel like hell.
3. We were robbed behind The Famous Horseshoe Tavern in Toronto this summer. Our Van was broken in to and they took it all - including a Jordan's Underwear.
4. We drive a Pontiac Montana with no trailer, but instead with a car- top carrier. Our stuff touches the ceiling – it’s great.
5. We sleep in our tents if we can’t find a place to crash – hotels are a rip-off
6. We listen mainly to Pop and Jazz in the van :)

It was only last spring that Ferraro was one course away from his degree. “Christian asked me if I wanted to give the band a more serious attempt – I was down – it was a no-brainer”, said Pimiskern (bass). The guys knew that they would have to make some changes. Working full-time jobs in four different cities just wasn’t going to cut it.
Trainlight decided that they really wanted to cement their sound and experience life on the road as a gigging band. “We decided to drop everything – I had a pretty decent job – a car and a place – but I had to make it work,” said Arkwright. Trainlight worked through what they said seemed like a series of pit-falls. The band found guitar player Jordan Logan who had been studying Jazz at York university with Pierce.
Trainlight independently booked about 50 dates for the summer of 2009 everywhere from Thunder Bay to Quebec City to Halifax. In their off time they started honing what is now coming to define Trainlight’s distinctive Pop – Electronic – and sometimes edgy sound. The band has sold about 400 hard-copy CDs this summer and has started receiving attention from promoters, festivals and industry from all over. “It’s hard to say at this point what the exact next steps for the band are, but we love what we’re doing – and we’re in it for the long haul” said Ferraro. Trainlight is looking forward most to recording their first full length, touring Europe, and getting a bigger van. thanks, his music is good, either have fan here in Mexico, likes me equal music of coldplay and I am member of a group that play covers of coldplay, I am the bassist and the vocalist and then hopefully and in the future we pruned to do just like you or estan doing, excuse me but I am not good writing in English, until soon.
