Tralala was built on the sounds of early rock and roll, 60's girl-groups, and classic punk, but "Is That The Tralala" sees the group drop some of the pretense inevitably attached to exploring definitive sounds. It delivers instead 12 new originals , played fast and loose, full of hooks and hook-ups and fast cars and dead ends, and all wrapped up neat in under 3 minutes. Add to this a perfect pair of covers of The Wipers and Giorgio Moroder, and you have a record that aims low, scores high, and leaves you wanting more…what else do you need?
