About me:

Be it known that the party of the first part, which is different from the first part of the party, otherwise known as Keenan Powell, did heretofore, theretoback, wheretowhatever enter into this plane of the Bardo at an entry point of 22 minutes 75 seconds after the hour of northward whereupon he did, but perhaps he didn't, exit once again. Growing abroad from the not quite Emerald City perched not quite so quietly on the shoulder of Lake Michigan, he set out on a long strange journey that it has been to which unleaded gas to the spot he finds himself inside, outside, behind, beyond and back again.

I put it to you the bill for the first party while I crash the second party.

A man's moral worth is not measured by what his religious beliefs
are but rather by what emotional impulses he has received from Nature
    during his lifetime

Freethinkers are those who are willing to use their minds without
prejudice and without fearing to understand things that clash with
their own customs, privileges, or beliefs. This state of mind is not
    common, but it is essential for right thinking;

Tolerance implies no lack of commitment to one's own beliefs. Rather it condemns the oppression or persecution of others.

One must marry one's feelings to one's beliefs and ideas. That is
probably the only way to achieve a measure of harmony in one's life.

To attain inner peace you must actually give your life, not just your
possessions. When you at last give your life - bringing into alignment
your beliefs and the way you live then, and only then, can you begin to
    find inner peace.

wishing you love, inner peace & harmony

Seduce my mind and you can have my body, find my soul and I'm yours forever...

I am interested in madness. I believe it is the biggest thing in the
human race, and the most constant. How do you take away from a man his
madness without also taking away his identity?

Identity would seem to be the garment with which one covers the
nakedness of the self, in which case, it is best that the garment be
loose, a little like the robes of the desert, through which one's
nakedness can always be felt, and, sometimes, discerned.

Joy, rather than happiness, is the goal of life, for joy is the
emotion which accompanies our fulfilling our natures as human beings.
It is based on the experience of one's identity as a being of worth and
    dignity.

This is not remarkable, for, as we know, reality is not a function
of the event as event, but of the relationship of that event to past,
and future, events. We seem here to have a paradox: that the reality of
an event, which is not real in itself, arises from the other events
which, likewise, in themselves are not real. But this only affirms what
we must affirm: that direction is all. And only as we realize this do
we live, for our own identity is dependent upon this principal.

I am woman, hear me roar

In numbers too big to ignore

And I know too much to go back an' pretend

'cause I've heard it all before

And I've been down there on the floor

No one's ever gonna keep me down again

    Oh yes I am wise

But it's wisdom born of pain

    Yes, I've paid the price

But look how much I gained

If I have to, I can do anything

    I am strong

    I am invincible

    I am woman

You can bend but never break me

'cause it only serves to make me

More determined to achieve my final goal

And I come back even stronger

    Not a novice any longer

'cause you've deepened the conviction in my soul

I am woman watch me grow

See me standing toe to toe

As I spread my lovin' arms across the land

    But I'm still an embryo

With a long long way to go

Until I make my brother understand

    Oh yes I am wise

But it's wisdom born of pain

    Yes, I've paid the price

But look how much I gained

If I have to I can face anything

That is the most ridiculous piece of garbage... lmao!

  • Dec 6 2009 2:14 PM

Even though we've changed and we're all finding our own
place in the world, we all know that when the tears fall or the smile spreads
across our face, we'll come to each other because no matter where this crazy
world takes us, nothing will ever change so much to the point where we're not
    all still friends.

Certain people have a way of saying things that shake us at the core. Even when
the words do not seem harsh or offensive, the impact is shattering. What we
could be experiencing is the intent behind the words. When we intend to do
good, we do. When we intend to do harm, it happens. What each of us must come
to realize is that our intent always comes through. We cannot sugarcoat the
feelings in our heart of hearts. The emotion is the energy that motivates. We
cannot ignore what we really want to create. We should be honest and do it the
way we feel it. What we owe to ourselves and everyone around is to examine the
    reasons of our true intent.

    always with love & respect

Things are looking bad for Christmas this year:

  • Dec 5 2009 12:23 AM

    I saw you this morning.

    You were moving so fast.

Can’t seem to loosen my grip

    On the past.

And I miss you so much.

    There’s no one in sight.

    And we’re still making love

    In My Secret Life.

    I smile when I’m angry.

    I cheat and I lie.

I do what I have to do

    To get by.

But I know what is wrong,

And I know what is right.

And I’d die for the truth

    In My Secret Life.

Hold on, hold on, my brother.

    My sister, hold on tight.

    I finally got my orders.

I’ll be marching through the morning,

    Marching through the night,

    Moving cross the borders

    Of My Secret Life.

    Looked through the paper.

    Makes you want to cry.

    Nobody cares if the people

    Live or die.

And the dealer wants you thinking

That it’s either black or white.

Thank G-d it’s not that simple

    In My Secret Life.

    I bite my lip.

    I buy what I’m told:

    From the latest hit,

    To the wisdom of old.

    But I’m always alone.

And my heart is like ice.

    And it’s crowded and cold

    In My Secret Life.

    much love & respect
