PROPHETS of the NEW CENTURY, DOCTORS who DON’T want to HEAL,
HOPEFUL BEGGARS from the street & MEN without WILL.
Tramps & Horses was born out of a necessity to bring Vincent’s prose into musical fruition. With Deed, the Irish singing storyteller as his muse they played their music around Manchester. An old friend from the university days soon arrived on the scene with a six string in his hand going by the name of Sam Pedro. Tramps & Horses then created Enchanted Brave, a monthly musical night, where for 2 years they drew in their audience and plied their trade. It was in this time Mr Devlin, the long haired Irish man with the fingers of a guitarist and the boots of a bassist arrived all the way from Seattle. Now four strong, fate led them to a festival in Derby. And whilst searching in a field for a lost guitar they stumbled upon the Pirate Neil, a peace keeping rhythm man. Tramps & Horses are now a Manchester based band that some hail as political Poets. To pigeon hole them is a tough job, but their brilliant song writing skills, spiralling harmonies and spine tingling verve makes you sit up and take note. They have enjoyed radio, T.V. and festival appearances culminating at the end of 2007 with time spent in an 18th century cottage in Wales, recording a ten track demo album. They are an exciting and unique band with an ever growing diverse fan base, and are currently Recording their new 4 track E.P. Which will be available to buy near the end of the summer. Keep your ears and eyes peeled.
