Nate Simpson has dabbled in composition and songwriting since his teenage years. As a musician, Nate has been a piano player for 12 years and is proficient with bass guitar. His first attempts at creating his own music leaned to analog work - alternative rock and sample-heavy trip-hop - with side ventures into tracking. In 2006, he dived head-first into electronica, producing a number of tracks and collaborating with a variety of singers in addition to providing vocal work for his own tracks.
2007 saw new vocal trance tracks released (Undone, Waking Alone) collaborating with Naomi, an unreleased foray into trip-hop (Halftone) again, and some instrumental tracks like Subsurface. In the lineup: two synthpop tracks featuring Nate, and more collaborations with Naomi.
