Influences

To be conscious about what a frequency can do to our body is merely being aware and open so we can activate those shut down parts of our being, making us extending the capacity of our brain, simply with the activation of our glands, so we are able to penetrate through the membrane fields around our bodies, connecting them with their higher self. He bases his way of playing on the energetic points of our body (the Chakras), of course here fore he needs to play at least a 8 to 10 set. Working with Sonic and Subsonic sound could be the port to cosmic awareness. " He believes that every sound has a resonance in the human body, corresponding with the vibration movement of the magnetic fields and bodies in the space, it is just an extension of the “Whole One Thing “and part of all creation". "Trance is an ancient way to transport you to a higher state of mind; pagan ceremonies have always been part of every culture. Now more than ever is time to go back to that ancient sounds, traditional instruments and rhythms connected to the electronic of our days so we can move back but forward in time and space. When dancing becomes a healing dance is a Chakra journey, right now we are transcending to a higher plane, it ‘s time to wake up".

   About TRANCELUZ
TRANCELUZ J’aime aka TRANCELUZ, is a (Latin) Dutchman who has as well his roots in Chile and Argentina. He started to Dj professionally in 1995. He studied Psycholinguistic and also specialized in Cultural Anthropology and History of Art. He became an international press reporter working for radio and television in different parts of the world. He is a drummer and around percussionist, but Djing and composing is how he became known, especially through his work in studios. As trance DJ, he is known as J’aime or TRANCELUZ, which means “Light in Trance”, but the name Ananta (Infinity in Sanskrit) was given to him in India in 1996 after been playing a 23 hrs. Set in Vashist – India and a 19 hrs. Set in Goa in 1997. Also called Sunyata by some followers in Asia and Australia. After living in South America as a child and being exposed to all kind of rhythms and music from all over, he started to play Music of the Andes, (mùsica Andina) and Latin Rhythms on an age of 11 years. In Holland started his first electronic band on an age of 15 years. From then on he couldn’t stop making music, even being in College couldn’t stop his passion, it was the exhaust everybody needs or perhaps the ways to be connected with your higher self. His first band was a Punk band called PANICO TEMOROSO; this band was the way to express the teenager’s revolution that was going on in the seventies in Northern West Europe. They grew up from a Punk to a Bebop band going throughout: New Wave; Ska; Blues Ska; Funk; Jazz Funk; Jazz Rock; Experimental; Fusion; Bossa Nova and finally Bebop in 1991. In 1983 he started his own Salsa band, created with people from all over, but specially from Latin America, this meant for him going back to his roots and made him reinforce his feeling for the circular rhythm, (which bring us in trance). SOL LATINO, the name of his Salsa band made it to the big public in 4 different countries in Europe and even when they didn’t have a CD recording they created also their own music and sold hundreds of tapes during their 5 years of existence. Through his work for Radio/TV "OOG" he got asked to be part of a project called TAR, Tar consisted of 5 top musicians with incredible lyrics. Tar made it to the studio in 3 weeks. They produced a fusion between Rock and Latin/African influences. Unfortunately the international labels didn’t react on it like they expected and after 6 months they split up. 8 years later a CD compilation of TAR project came on the marked and made it to the top in Holland. During the summer months in Europe between 1984 and 1988 he used to work as DJ in Spain in different parts on “La ruta de Bacalao – also called “Ruta destroy” was the first connection with electronic music, bands like: Front 242, Kraftwerck, Ultravox, Anne Clarke, Invisible Limits, Farm, Vicius Pink, A split second, Red Flag, Camouflage, Cretu, Farm, Movement, Propaganda and P.machinery were sounding in the Discotheques around Valencia like: Barraca Destroy, Chocolate, Spooky Factory, Puzzle, Espiral etc. The nights became longer and longer, some clubs were going on for 48 hours it was the beginning of a new vibration, a new form of music, some how you could feel that the psychedelic was taking over the night. In 1988 he travels for the first time back to South America and managed to play for the first time with OLODUM in Pelourinho (Salvador de Bahia-Brasil). As a percussionist he really enjoys it and brought him to get more and more into the essence of the music, what he calls trance, because there is a difference between Easy listening music, which is the most music we listen to and the Trance that bring us to an alter state of mind. Between 1979 and 1991 he played with an uncountable quantity of musicians, having Jam sessions every week in his hometown village in North Holland – Groningen, plus his own bands and invitation gigs. He used to go to the Vera, an alternative Space were he saw starting many big bands like, Echo and the Bunnymen, Cocteau twins, Black, Specials, The Cult, The Club, Fatal Flowers, the Gun Club, Sonic Youth,Monster Magnet, Dead Moon, Giant Sand, Sebadoh, Cosmic Psychos etc. About end of the 80's he got in touch with the Classic Trance, it was different, he didn’t understand it first, but after dancing for 12 hrs. He got such a release of his mind and spirit that gave him the sensation to be back on one of those beaches in Brazil playing and dancing Candomble and playing Capoeira, it was an old feeling back in him, an indefinite sensation that made him looks for something more deeper. Tranceluz is considerd the pioneer of Psychedelic Trance in Latin America. On 2 February 1990 he played for the First time Trance in Latin America, what they use to called Classic Trance; which was the definition for Trance in general at that time, in Praia do Hippy, northern Salvador the Bahia, a private party for not more than 80 people, and about 3 weeks after he played his very first party in Chile, in San Pedro de Atacama in “The valley of the Moon” and Trance music was born in the Americas. And he did it again in march 1992 and february 1994, played again in Chile and Brasil, trance had changed already a bit, but it was still the same feeling as before. At that time he was mixing with the 1980s Sony Professional Walkman WM-D6 with pitch control, an amazing machine, around 1993 he start to play with Sony DAT machine TCD-D3, TCD-D7 and TCD-D8 late in the 90’s, know on his perfectly mix, he could mix so well on DAT that many though he was playing with pitch control. Begin of the 90’s he used to go to parties all over northern Europe Holland, Germany and Belgium, all around, a few hundreds kilometers away from his home town Groningen. Dj Cosmic from Gelsenkirshen and Dj Kudo from Japan were those dj’s that influenced him the most in the beginning. He was collecting but not really playing in Europe, he was only playing during his trips to South America, like in 1990, 1992 and 1994 before the Very first Solar Eclipse where Trance music was played in Chile in 1994. Back in Holland in Groningen he was helping to organize events for thousand of people with 2 organizations, Brain Pulse and ABC the very first Trance Party in Groningen was organized in his house and he started to work as visualist, creating amazing 3D Graphic designs together with student of the Art Academy Minerva, but the music was always there so slowly he started to play the After Parties begin of the 90's, still J'aime creates 2D and 3D graphic designs and created designs for many Trance labels from clothing to Cd covers, banners, backdrops etc. Glastonbury Festival in 1994 will change it all, he was hanging out on the Stonehenge when he met Lenny Cravitz and a few minutes later Susuky Tsuyoshi from Prana they became friends and Tsuyoshi invited him to come to his house in Gypsy Hill in London. He moved to London in July 1994 and started to work in “Return to the Source”; He had met before back in Holland Chris Dekker and they were good friends since 1992. This was the very beginning of the exposure of trance music to the world and Trance became a fact. In 1995 he started a project in Australia called “Beyond the Brain” with Paul Chamber, Cathy Paul’s wife and Nick Taylor (ex Prana - Snake thing, today Edge Core records) when he was living in Byron Bay. Ray Castles, Ollie Wisdom, Nick Space tree, Jeh, Dj Mandy, Dj Shin Bindi, Ollie Olsen and Andrew Till from Parasonics, Insectoid were some of those trancenauts he used to play and hang out with middle of the 90's, of course he is been involve in many events and playing with all the top in the many festival around the world. He also played the first 3 Transelement parties and closed the first one under the storm, people didn't let him stop playing, it was one of his best sets ever. He is as well the first in the world to integrate Butoh to the trance music in 1995 in Australia, because his ex girlfriend a Butoh professional dancer and teacher, Jevan Leela, known as Aven. 1995 played his first 10 hrs. Set in public in Australia (in the A P Center) in Byron Bay. For 800 people and on his way to Goa - India he managed to play a 3 hrs, set on Kao San Rd. in Bangkok. (The police stopped it because hundreds of people were blocking the traffic in Wang Lam Pong). which costed him 3 hours of retention and his music got almost confiscated by the police. Played 4 seasons in Goa since 1994 and 1995 private parties and the underground parties for a few hundred of people, all the machines were powered by motorbikes and cars batteries, (even the mixer a 12 volt made by themselves), so they couldn't get caught by the police. In 1996 / 1997 played the biggest parties for more than 5000 people in Goa – India and was considered to be one of the best Dj’s of Goa - India. Goa used to be the Mecca of EPsychedelic Trance, where Dj's from the entire world came to play. In 1997 for Christmas played another 12 hours in trancoso - Bahia and managed to play a few more raves with Max Lafranconi of Etnica in Arrial D'ajuda, before getting back to Bali and soon after Japan. He played with Makio live in the Strong Sun Moon Festival in Gifu in 1998 on. Made music with the Ochi Brothers and Makio He is been playing many private parties for well-known world celebrities and royal famiies. Lived for many years in Bali (played with Space Tribe Ollie Wisdom, Scotty, and others many Space Tribe parties) The Gili Nanggu parties where he played in 1998 a memorable 7 hours set; Spend years playing in India, Australia, New Zealand and Japan (for Rainbow 2000 and Equinox), Today the day he is a resident in New Caledonia, where he’s been refunding him self and he’s been working on his first solo album. He released before 4 tracks in 1999 and 2000, and did many collaboration with different artist, made some soundtrack for movies, like No Mercy , but after a motorbike accident in Bali took him a while to get back into the music. Today the day he has played more than 500 gigs and he still feels the butterflies in his stomach before starting to play. Being playing from very big events, like the “ Strong Sun Moon Festival in Japan in 1998 for more than 8000 people and a 80.000 kilo watts Sound system, The Gathering in New Zealand for 15 000 people or Visionz also in New Zealand for + - 10 000 people, Played Earth Dance in 5 different countries, to the smallest parties private celebrations with friends. Some of the countries he as played are: Holland; Germany; Denmark; France; Spain; Sweden; Belgium; Brazil; Argentina; Chile; Peru; Bolivia; India; Nepal; Thailand; Taiwan; Indonesia; New Zealand; Japan; Australia; Wales; England; Hong Kong; New Caledonia, morocco, Austria and Switzerland, etc.

thx for support

South African Corona, whose second album is getting ready to be launched on Solar Tech very soon, and his compatriot Chabunk teamed for a Sunset Safari. As this term implies, it is an beautiful but also an adventurous tour that awaits the listeners. On the contrary of cheesy standard melodies, these varied tracks put the idea of Trance in a nutshell and distinguish themselves by forcing power and deepness. While most of them represent the creativity of South Africa, also material from Brazil, Chile, the UK and Germany is included.

After The Rain marks a very special moment...

... the sky is clearing, tender sunrays strike one's skin again, the air is fresh and clean and sometimes one can even watch a rainbow.

This situation represents pretty much the musical atmosphere of Krama's second album: Mighty bass structures form a clean and solid foundation, on which sunny melodies swash out of trancy depths, accompanied by forcing rhythm structures. Since 2001, Dimitris Violitzis and Elias Garanis from Greece have constantly developed their very own definition of Power Progressive Trance.

The epic flow of their music is inspired by their musical background, which includes minimal Progressive Trance on the one hand but also classical and Celtic music, New Age sounds and even some Metal.

The intense effectiveness of Krama's tunes could already been witnessed on many different Progressive floors where the two dudes always delivered excellent shows.
