I am a Korean adoptee and transgender woman who was born in Seoul and raised in a Pentecostal Republican family. I grew up in the Town of Bethlehem. I am a Senior Strategist for a national media organization. I am actively involved with the community and sit on a few non-profit boards. My work has been published and followed in the media. I am a devout believer in the peaceful reunification and restoration of the Korean peninsula.
I frequently travel for work. You can usually spot me in Dupont Circle for brunch at Teaism; Newbury Street to satisfy my indulgence for Teuschers chocolate champagne truffles; West Hollywood for drinks at The Abbey and; Tru Spa in San Francisco’s to snag a massage appointment.
When in New York, I'm apt to catch a late night movie at Battery Park or Court Street theaters. My iPod as a dear friend of mine. I like consignment and vintage shops equally as the boutiques and flagship stores that line Fifth Ave. I try to keep in shape at David Barton’s Gym. Mandoo Bar, Gandhi, Red Bamboo, Cornelia Street Cafe, Good and Swich are some of my favorite places to grab a bite to eat. I love buying magazines and my regular staples include Monocle, Town & Country, Foreign Affairs, New York, Hello! and Women’s Wear Daily. The Brooklyn Bridge is my go-to spot to think.
In short, I aspire to be a Renaissance woman.
