Who I'd like to meet: The TRANSIT ARTS Performance Group is a dynamic blend of outstanding professional artists and talented youth artists inspiring and challenging one another to honor our roots while creating fresh new work. Rhythms rise from the drums, turntables and dancing feet, as poets, hip-hop emcees, breakdancers, DJs, musicians, singers and visual artists flow together to create a breathtaking, and interactive, multi-disciplinary performance experience.
TRANSIT ARTS (www.transitarts.com), artists on the move, performs and exhibits work throughout the community at venues as diverse as: The Columbus Museum of Art, Riverfest, The Wexner Center for the Arts, The King Arts Complex, Columbus Metropolitan Library Main Library, Actors' Theatre (Shakespeare in Schiller Park), Central Community House, The Old National Road Festival, Weinland Park Community Celebration, Veterans Memorial MLK Celebration, Sawyer Recreation Center, and more.
