11/11/08 JOE MAZZARI SOLO EFFORT NEARS CONCLUSION
Guitarist/Singer Joe Mazzari’s much anticipated new solo album of original music is nearing it’s recording conclusion, with an early 2009 release date being targeted. The album, being released on Transit Music Group’s Skullduggery Records imprint, is being recorded at NH’s premier recording facility. Rocking Horse Studio in Pittsfield, NH under the aegis of producer Brian Coombes. Featured musicians on the album include Coombes on various instrumentation, Dave Pierog on Percussion, Joe Pierog on Upright Bass, Carl Howard on Drums, Will Kindler on Slide Guitar and Backing Vocals, Bill Dougherty on Electric Bass, and Dan Mathis on Harmonica, and many other musicians.
The music, a series of short stories and Americana vignettes closely resemble the music of ‘The River’ era Bruce Springsteen, in both its instrumentation and its storytelling. Early reviews from those who have heard the unfinished tracks are universally incredible, with many saying that this may be the best recording ever by the former Johnny Thunder’s guitarist. Stay tuned for upcoming performances and release information.

£leTriKa sounds completely different from any Metal band you have ever heard. The Brazilian rhythms and the Portuguese language added to the songs makes its style unique, giving birth to a new kind of Metal. If you are really looking for something new about Metal, you should check £leTriKa out!
