For over five years, Transmission has been breaking down barriers between musical genres, with a mission to book the most interesting & open-minded DJs & bands...

Starting at the Barfly, then at 333, 93 Feet East and, most recently, The Last Days Of Decadence in London & still a regular fixture at Barcelona's Razzmatazz and Berlin's Bang Bang Club, the club's DJs take part in "an argument between guitars and club culture", mixing up anything from anything from the smartest new guitar tunes, to the sharpest remixes, to inspiring Punk/Funk, to glitchy Electro, to startling Electro-techno.

Adding to the mix have been guest DJs from bands (!!!, Maximo Park, Bloc Party, Athlete, The Rapture, Franz Ferdinand, Libertines, Scissor Sisters, Frank Black, Perry Farrell), radio (Edith Bowman, Eddy Temple-Morris, John Kennedy), producers/remixers (The Glimmers, Richard X, Osymyso, Death In Vegas) & clubs in the UK, Spain & beyond (Nightmoves, Mr Flash, Andy Weatherall, Simply Kev, Gucci Sound System). And that list just scratches the surface of the guests we've had!

In 2009. Transmission has continued its residency at Razzmatazz and presented nights at Make Up Club (Ghent), Taboo (Benicassim) and Koko (London)...
