TRANZISTOR BOP was HANS GAUTHIER, the outlandish singer and style warrior who made radioactive waves in Quebec fronting the legendary electropunk duo CHERNOBYL CHA-CHA with guitarist/producer JEF HELL between 2000 and 2004 .
Prior to this, HANS GAUTHIER and JEF HELL were also original band line up for XAVIER PARADIS' ECHO KITTY.
But in 2004, due to differing geographical directions, HANS started his own solo project TRANZISTOR BOP while JEF HELL rejoined ECHO KITTY in Montreal.
While keeping in spirit CHERNOBYL CHA-CHA's synthpunk vibe, TRANZISTOR BOP was a sexy combination of sci-fi, glamour, ultraviolent movies and HELLECTRONIC ROCK AND ROLL.
In 2006, HANS GAUTHIER has reunited with JEF HELL to reform CHERNOBYL CHA-CHA in montreal ...And the saga continues...
