Arizona, U.S.A. based Tranzit one of the most highly sought after and requested House DJs in Arizona, Tranzit is often referred to as one of the hardest working DJs in America. Tranzit is known for his ability to rock out a packed dance floor with his brilliant Electro and then the next show dig deep and lay down a Deep House set that will move you to your soul. On top of his many shows and weeklies in his career, Tranzit has opened for some of the biggest names in Dance Music, including Paul Oakenfold, Bad Boy Bill, L.A. Riots, Donald Glaude, Colette, Marques Wyatt, Lisa Pin Up, Amber D, & Eric Prydz, just to name a few.
Tranzit was born in Orange County, CA and moved to Albuquerque, NM where at an early age he was always seemed to be in the spotlight. That led to piano lessons and eventually recitals in front of audiences. From then on performance was in his blood.

Music is definitely a driving force in my life and has been ever since I could remember.” Tranzit has an eclectic list of important influences in his musical career. Some of them being Bad Boy Bill, Steve Angelo, Michael Jackson, Prince, Rolling Stones, & Tribe Called Quest just to name a few.
His father was also an important influence in not only his musical interests, but his personal traits as well. Tranzit’s father, who also DJ’d in small coffee shops in Korea, has always instilled into Tranzit to always shoot for the top and to put 100% effort in everything he does. "I remember getting a Michael Jackson VHS tape for Christmas and I seriously played it so many times that it actually stopped playing." Tranzit would sit for hours in front of the T.V. perfecting Jackson’s dance moves and later played out those same moves performing for guests of his parents when they had big parties. You can definitely see that effort in not only Tranzit’s performances, but also in his creativity and work ethic when it comes to his music with meticulous beat matching, programming and basic DJ fundamentals, Tranzit adds a showmanship that that makes his shows a performance, not just a DJ set. His energy behind the stage explodes every time he goes on and his stage presence is impeccable. From his dancing to his grooves and jumping around, to scratching, beat juggling, cutting and even picking up his equipment, Tranzit has the crowd in the palm of his hands from the time the first beat is dropped.
Winning many DJ spin offs and voted best AZ Club DJ (New Times 2005), Tranzit more than rivals local Hip Hop/Mash Up/Top40 DJs as far as demand. In a day in age where hip hop/top40/mashup reigns supreme, Tranzit is still booked at 3 different gigs in the same night! With 4 residencies in Scottsdale, A.Z. under his belt( Myst, e4, Café Carumba, and Lyte), you can see why he is proclaimed one of the hardest working DJs in America.

As well as being the creator of Vinyl Tech DJs (vt-dj.com) Tranzit has just recently been picked up as a Red Bull suppoerted DJ as well as being added to the www.eventvibe.com team.
