"A beguiling quality…it has a magnetically positive idealism behind it that seems to be severely lacking in contemporary music…” -Mish Mash Music Reviews
"A jamband-in-check feel to the earnest thoughtfulness, a feel that comes from being in one’s late-teens and the ensuing early jabs at figuring out the world"-The Shepherd Express
"...see them live once, and their charm coupled with their talent will leave you wanting more." -Beaux's Magical Musical Plasicity
"Even though this band is made up of five teenagers that fact is quickly forgotten once the music starts...meandering folk rock Dylan-esque sound..."-Indie Music Stop
“These guys have nailed an indie folk sound that is genuine and fun.” -Shepizzle Indie Music Reviews
“One might think the lyrics of a 19-year-old might be, well, juvenile, but Trapper pens some pretty good lines...The band employs tension and release and within-song twists and turns with skill that belies their age."-The Muse's Muse
“..obvious inspiration within the lyrics comes from Bob Dylan, as songs contain the same ambling attitude”–Volume One
"A sound of its own…anyone who grew up with rock will feel at home listening to them play — or playing their new CD, ‘A Change in the Weather’…” -Red Wing Eagle Newspaper
“I find the band to be something between the Magnetic Fields and Interpol...which is cool…”
-Bassist Greg Richling of Grammy Award Winning Band The Wallflowers
hey thanks for telling me i have tried to go to 2 of you guys concerts but it always get's messed up but i think this time it's a guarantee i'll be there WWOOOO!!
Hey Trapper!!! Momma Bear and I are probably gonna come see you and Cam at the Blue Moon tomorrow night cuz we can't think of a better way to spend saturday night pre-mother's day.
Hey TSB - Matt here, from Canasta. I definitely *hope* we're playing with you in June... but I don't think our participation has been confirmed by the venue yet. But we wanna play the show, for sure. So here's to hoping it happens! Stay tuned...
No waaaay, thats awesome! I finally got "Wake Up, Thunderbabe" yesterday haha, but yeah. I can't wait. Looks like I'll be seeing you all the 11th and 14th of June then. Sweet.
I get a kick out of how the baby blue upcoming show box grows! It's fun watching a gifted band go from birth to the top. Every day you're that much closer.
Yeah no problem! I do enjoy the album, it's very chill. I can tell how some of the influences you guys have listed play out in the tracks. Especially Bob Dylan to vocals. Mhm, I'll probably catch you guys the next time you're in Minneapolis. I'm actually going to be in Milwaukee the 13th-17th of June for the Twins/Brewers games, and it'd be awesome to go to one of the shows you have going on that weekend, so probably see you all then!
that's awesome! I didn't know she was headed for Columbia...I'll have to get in touch with her cause I'd love to see her. Looks like everything's going great for you guys...the band looks pretty busy...I can't wait to finally see you guys live...and by the looks of your show list...I have quite a few opportunity's...so congrats and keep up the hustle! As for me, I'm definetely missing my east coast jazz/blues/open mic clubs, dancers, and lifestyle...but I'll be back there in a few months. For now...it's just all about work, writing, and recording some new material. Keep in touch...for real. Peace-
