| General | cooking playing drums music in general and one day wouldlike to go fishing just to say id done it .love to sing but cant remember wordsexcept to beatle songs which goes to show what a big fan i must be.......oh and soul ballads too cause im a crooner at heart,sad eh? | | Music | all sorts including ,james taylor,miles davis ,stevie wonder ,toto,light jazz ,rock and mainly soul interests me,but have recently been turned to alot of world music and now realise the great,melodies of ethnic , and middle eastern music. check it out | | Movies | fave film RAIDERS OF THE LOST ARK, cause it had a bit of everything , and have good memories seeing it the first time in the biggest cinema in the world.Butlove action films if the stories good,and true life films also......., | | Television | take it or leave it, but the best tv i think is something that teaches you about the world , yourself or all around you,hate the dumbing down of tv.most programmers out there must think were fuckin idiots,which really pisses me off.ie baaah | | Books | talisman by stephen king ........one book that really spoke to me .amazing book........and autobigraphies too.used to read alot on the road,but prefer lookin out of the window now ,and dreaming,s nothins changed there then | | Heroes | havnt got any at all.................a true hero will never shout about it or most likley go un.. noticed. |

About me:
Hi and thanks for stopping by my well long-overdue place on the internet! Thanks to Kit and Angie for making a start on the page for me!
I started playing drums in 1967 aged 17, turned proffesional 1969 and learnt to play on stage at every Army, Navy and Airforce base Germany could throw at me.. I loved every second .
I joined Silverhead in 1971 and toured the States and Japan and recorded two good albums (Silverhead and Sixteen and Savaged), before "the powers that be" decided to pull the plug.
Started a studio career, workin my way up from all the sessions I could do for chump change, to get on someones 'A-list', which got me to work with MCA as a house band session drummer for a bout 6 yrs ..did commercials film work and even sat in the PIT for a stage version of Moulon Rouge, which was fun only cause i was at the front and could sneek a good look at all the long legs being kicked my way each night!
Toured around the world some more ,got ripped off royally, more than once (you know who you are and I haven't forgotten) and eventually got the one thing i had always wanted - some recognition for services rendered in the way of 5 gold discs from Robert Plant and awards from Robin Trower from recording work .
Got married twice, both to women, and they didnt work to our liking and have two wonderful kids both boys.
My CV is long and only interesting to close family so no point in putting it here ..
I currently tour and perform with ROBIN TROWER , whom ive had the drum seat off and on for 20 yrs ..things look good right now ,thanks for listening... Pete x
