Trash Magnet started as a collaboration effort by seasoned musicians from the Seattle and Pittsburgh music scenes. They are a straight-up, down-and-dirty Rock quartet, with punk influences, sliding right into one's CD collection with such greats as Thin Lizzy, The Supersuckers, The Ramones, Social Distortion and so on.
In July 2009, Jeff Miles arrived in Pittsburgh from Las Vegas and joined the band as bassist. Shortly thereafter, Lead guitarist Ray Wyland left the band to return to Seattle, and was replaced by local veteran, Ray Kolcun. Trash Magnet has been busy as of late, honing the new lineup and writing new material. On October 15th, after a 3-month hiatus, Trash Magnet will return to the Pittsburgh scene, tanned, rested and ready!
Well Jim Van Holland, I heard Cannonball on the radio this morning and remembered how much you loved that song, which in turn reminded me I missed your birthday, so happy belated.
